We’ll enjoy an easy 2 km walk along the coastline and through the town, discovering local spots, beaches, sights, and Greek myths connected with Zeus, Europa, Taurus, and the Horn of Amalthea. Along the way, you’ll learn about local life, traditions, and the area, with useful information and maps also shared afterwards.
Then, relax at a famous wine bar–restaurant next to Lake Voulismeni for a tasting of 5 Cretan wines — 2 whites, 2 reds, and 1 rosé — accompanied by finger food.
We’ll talk about the wines, where they come from, how Cretan wine is made, and everyday life, culture, traditions, and stories of Crete.
